Fundraise for us

JIGSAW Thornbury needs your help!

We are seeing an increase in demand for our services, with a 45% increase in member numbers in the 2022-23 financial year and a 25% increase in member numbers in 2023-24. This was 298 local families, including 427 children and young people, joining in the space of 2 years. That is the equivalent of 14 full classes of 30 children, and their families, seeking support from our charity!

We need the support of our community to keep up with this growing demand. Join in by taking on your own fundraising challenge and help us keep our life changing impact going. You can take on any challenge of your choosing, or join in with one organised by us.

Complete our online fundraising registration form to join in today! Once you have registered, we will send you our fundraising pack with more information about how we can support you on your fundraising journey with us.

Fill your wellbeing cup with a Jolly JIGSAW Get Together!

We are launching a campaign to bring people together, tackling isolation and improving wellbeing throughout January and beyond. Anyone will be able to host a Jolly JIGSAW Get Together to help their friends and family feel more connected, whilst raising money for JIGSAW to provide children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, and their families, a safe space to connect.

The inspiration for this campaign comes from our very special JIGSAW wellbeing breakfasts and afternoon teas, which we host regularly for parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs or disabilities. These events have been described as ‘a hug on a plate’ and ‘a perfect chance to leave the world behind’. We want to share these wellbeing benefits with the whole community by encouraging as many people as possible to host their own get together. The funds raised at these events will help us offer more opportunities for parents and carers to take time for themselves to recharge, and for children and young people to have fun trying new things in a safe space.

Pick a date, invite friends, have fun, collect donations, change lives!

‘‘Joining this wonderful organisation has been an absolute game changer for me and my girls, and I can honestly say that I really don’t know where we would be in our chaotic existence without the support, and acceptance we have experienced since becoming members.’’
