A Happy New Year from all at JIGSAW
We haven’t had the start to the new year that we all wanted, but unfortunately it is a necessary one to keep us all safe.

The next few months are likely to be extremely tough, so we are working hard to make support available for you all that is flexible and meets the needs of the whole family and keeps our community connected.

As the majority of our staff are parents of children with additional needs themselves, they are well placed to understand the challenges that JIGSAW families are facing. It also means that some of our services may subsequently be affected.

However, we are still here and available to help so please do get in touch and see below for our current support for Lockdown #3.

JIGSAW Staff Update

We are really sad to announce that Nikki, our lovely SEN-Sory Lending Library Coordinator has left to increase her hours in a local school as a SEN TA. We want to thank her for the amazing work she has done establishing the lending library as a thriving Saturday morning group which was as much about socialising as it was about loaning out equipment. The lending library will be closed until we have recruited a new member of the team. Watch this space for updates.

Rosie has been working with our young people running our Young Volunteers service and has helped set up our successful Youth Club. Sadly, Rosie is also leaving us soon to start a full time post with CAMHS. We wish her lots of luck in her new job and are sure many young people will benefit from her bubbly, reassuring nature.

We are glad to say that both Rosie and Nikki will continue volunteering for us so they aren’t disappearing completely!

With warmest wishes,
