Give the gift of warmth this Christmas to JIGSAW Thornbury and change the lives of children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, and their families.

Join in with JIGSAW for Giving Tuesday, a day when everyone everywhere can do something to support good causes. We urgently need your support to repair our heating system and help towards increased energy costs. Your donation will help us to provide a safe, warm space for children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, and their families, to connect, fit in, and thrive.

”There are so many areas of life that are difficult for Hugo but at JIGSAW he just fits in and can be himself completely. I feel so relieved and grateful to have found JIGSAW.” Kayleigh, parent carer

Life can be extremely challenging for the families we support. They have described to us their feelings of loneliness, disconnection, guilt and isolation, all of which impact on their wellbeing. Our venue provides a space for the whole family to join in with activities and connect with others.

I’d say that JIGSAW is an awesome safe place for all kinds of neurodiverse young people, you can have fun, try new things and all in a very safe place.” George, young member

We are very proud that our venue is a safe space for our families, however, it is quickly becoming less safe as we head into colder months with limited heating. We urgently need to make repairs to our heating system which have been estimated to cost £2,000.  In addition, our energy costs have increased by a massive 90% over the last 12 months, adding an extra £41.22 every week to our bills.

We’re working hard applying for grants where we can to help cover these additional costs and are very grateful for donations received so far from the Thornbury Lions for £250 and an anonymous donor of £500.

But we still need your help too!  Please donate what you can now to give the gift of warmth this Christmas to JIGSAW Thornbury to help us keep our home a safe space for our families.
