Our events include holiday activities, after school clubs, training sessions for families and professionals as well as social events for parents.
To access any of our resources or attend our regular or one off events you must be a family member of JIGSAW Thornbury (please note to book on as a professional to the Project 5 conference this doesn’t apply). It is free to join. All you need to do is fill out a membership form and we will issue you with a membership number and card. You will need to input this number when booking events through the website.
You can join online here
Due to the amount of activities JIGSAW is now running there will be no capacity for late bookings to any of our events. This is due to the additional admin it requires and our workload. All events are advertised in a timely manner but please be aware they close to bookings when full OR about 3-5 days prior to the event. If you purchase a ticket to any event and are unable to attend, do not offer this to other members on social media. Instead contact the JIGSAW Thornbury events email or phone us at the base. All bookings require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel with a full refund. This allows us time to fill your space. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
If you have any questions please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

One to One Support Sessions – Tuesday mornings
December 1, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until December 1, 2020
At JIGSAW we recognise the stresses of parenting a child or children with additional needs and the extra challenges this may bring to you and your family. Whilst our regular support groups can’t run like they used to at the moment we can still offer you one to one support either via zoom or outside for a walk, obviously sticking to government guidelines. These sessions will be with JIGSAW’s Inclusion Support Coordinator Ceri Roper, who is herself a mother of a 10 year old Autistic child. Ceri has spent her career working with and supporting children with and without additional needs and their families.
There is no set agenda to our one to one support sessions, this is an opportunity for you to talk about the things that are on your mind, seek advice and sign posting to other services.
Sessions are for a maximum of one hour and are available Tuesday mornings between 9.30 – 11.30am. Please email the support team at email@example.com to arrange a session. Please note – pre school children will be welcome at the outside support sessions, as per the current government guidelines.
There will be no charge for these support sessions but donations are always welcome either on the day or online here https://www.jigsawthornbury.org.uk/donate/
