We are delighted to have been chosen by The Rotary Service in Thornbury as primary charity for their main fundraising campaign this year.
The Thornbury Walkathon runs from 24th May to 6th June. It’s a great opportunity to keep fit, to enjoy the fabulous walks around Thornbury and neighbouring villages, and to raise money for JIGSAW! Set yourself a walking challenge to complete during Thornbury Walkathon fortnight!
You can register by going to the Rotary Service website: http://thornburyrotary.org/Walkathon/ The event is free to enter and open to individuals, families, or teams of up to six people. All ages and abilities can take part in this fun event at any time over the 2 weeks.
A walking route will be marked out in The Mundy Playing Fields but you might also choose to make an alternative footpath walk your Walkathon challenge. The Rotary Service have four proposed routes which you can view here Thornbury Rotary Walkathon – Proposed Walking Routes
