JIGSAW Thornbury are delighted to announce that we have been granted a years’ funding by Quartet Community Fund to set up a new project aimed at reaching parents, with additional needs children, who are isolated within the community.
We are looking for a Coordinator to lead this project, under the guidance of the Support and Activities Manager.
You will need to identify and make contact with parents of children with Additional Needs. Be able to communicate with people who find communication difficult, reach out into our communities and set up and run a Sensory Awareness Course.
This exciting new service will allow parents to meet our Inclusion Support Coordinator in an informal setting in order to gain confidence and become aware of what is available from JIGSAW Thornbury and other agencies.
Hours are 8 per week, during term time.
