Help Us Make 2025 Our Most Impactful Year Yet!
At JIGSAW Thornbury, demand for our support is growing fast — and we need your help to keep up. Over the past two years, 298 local families, including 427 children and young people, have joined our community. That’s the equivalent of 14 full classrooms of children, and their families, seeking support from our charity.
We’re proud to be a lifeline for these families, offering support, empowerment, and opportunities that many struggle to access elsewhere.
Together, We Can Keep This Life-Changing Impact Going
Thanks to the incredible support of our community and the inspiring efforts of our young volunteers, we raised £4,034.31 through fundraising events in 2024. But as need continues to rise, we need help to raise even more in 2025.

Looking for a way to get involved and make a difference?
We’ve got a fantastic line-up of community events throughout the year — all designed to raise the vital funds that keep our services running. These events take a lot of planning, preparation, and people power on the day, and we rely on the strength of our community to make them a success.
Whether you’re cheering on the waggiest tail at our Community Dog Show, teeing off at our Charity Golf Day, or catching up over cake at one of our Community Cafés — your support brings people together and fuels the spirit of connection that sits at the heart of JIGSAW’s mission.

Fill your wellbeing cup with a Jolly JIGSAW Get Together!
We are launching a campaign to bring people together, tackling isolation and improving wellbeing throughout January and beyond. Anyone will be able to host a Jolly JIGSAW Get Together to help their friends and family feel more connected, whilst raising money for JIGSAW to provide children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, and their families, a safe space to connect.
The inspiration for this campaign comes from our very special JIGSAW wellbeing breakfasts and afternoon teas, which we host regularly for parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs or disabilities. These events have been described as ‘a hug on a plate’ and ‘a perfect chance to leave the world behind’. We want to share these wellbeing benefits with the whole community by encouraging as many people as possible to host their own get together. The funds raised at these events will help us offer more opportunities for parents and carers to take time for themselves to recharge, and for children and young people to have fun trying new things in a safe space.

resources for a Youth Club session, which creates a safe space for 10 young people with additional needs or disabilities, aged 14-25 years.
£100 could fund...
5 families to access our home education support group for 1 term, which aims to reduce isolation for both parents and their children by increasing opportunities for social interactions and developing connections.
£1000 could fund...
the materials and activity costs for 1 year’s worth of our Wellbeing Goes Wild sessions, which aims to help parents and carers rebuild a sense of self and develop or regain resilience, confidence, joy and freedom through activities.
